Caring for Your Vellies

A little extra care helps keep your shoes looking their best. Follow these simple steps:

Regular Cleaning

• Use a soft suede brush or a damp cloth to remove surface dirt and dust gently.
• Brush in one direction to maintain the nap (texture) of the suede.

Removing Stains

• For light stains, use a soft cloth (ideally microfibre) dampened with one of the following:
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • White vinegar
  • A mild soap solution (1 part dish soap to 8 parts lukewarm water)
• Always pour the solution onto the cloth - never directly onto the leather - to avoid over-saturation.
• Gently dab or wipe the stained area.

Drying

• Let the shoes air dry naturally.
• Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources (like heaters or hairdryers), as they can damage the suede.

Extra Protection

• Consider using suede-specific cleaning or protection products available at most shoe stores.
